Our origin
Compassionate Heart Ministries began in 2018 in Georgetown, Guyana, with a simple mandate: see a need, respond with compassion, and demonstrate the love of Christ.
What began by serving destitute and displaced individuals on the streets has grown into a broader Kingdom assignment of equipping believers, serving communities, and advancing the Kingdom of God.
Today CHM is an online platform. Our teaching, prayer and encouragement reach people through YouTube and Facebook, wherever they are.

To empower, equip and edify believers through the Word of God, prayer, discipleship and compassionate service, fostering spiritual growth, transformation and effective ministry.
Our vision
To see transformed and empowered believers walking in their God-given identity, purpose and assignment, equipped to impact lives and communities and advance the Kingdom of God locally and throughout the nations.
Our mandate
Our mandate has two parts:
- To empower believers to fulfil the work of the ministry God has called them to.
- To show the love of God through practical acts of kindness and compassionate service.
We want to minister to the whole person: spirit, soul and body.

Our heart
Compassion is at the heart of who we are. We try to see people the way Christ sees them, and to respond to the broken, vulnerable, overlooked and marginalised with love, dignity, truth and practical care.
We want to show the love of Christ not only in what we say, but in how we serve.
Prophetess Miriam Roberts Hinds
Visionary and Founder
Prophetess Miriam Roberts Hinds is a passionate servant of God, prophetic voice, teacher of the Word, intercessor, wife and mother. She has a deep passion to see lives transformed through the power of God's Word and the revelation of His Kingdom.
She is the visionary and founder of Compassionate Heart Ministries, a Kingdom-focused ministry started in 2018. Its mandate is to empower believers for ministry and to show the love of Christ through compassion, kindness, discipleship, prayer, teaching, counselling and practical empowerment. What began with a burden for the destitute, displaced, rejected and brokenhearted has grown into a ministry that serves the whole person.
Prophetess Hinds carries a strong burden for Kingdom advancement, spiritual formation, intercession and discipleship. She wants to raise believers who understand their identity, authority, purpose and responsibility in the Kingdom of God. Through her teaching and prophetic ministry she equips the Body of Christ to grow in the Word, hear the voice of God, walk in obedience and live out the Kingdom in everyday life.
She also serves in intercessory leadership with Leoline Hinds International Ministries (LHIM), where she is passionate about raising and strengthening watchmen who understand the responsibility of standing in the place of prayer and spiritual governance.
Prophetess Miriam is the author and developer of several Bible-study resources and ministry teachings. They are designed to help believers grow in the grace of God's Word, discover purpose, develop spiritual maturity and become effective Kingdom representatives.
Above all, she is committed to knowing Christ, making Him known, and helping others encounter His love, truth, grace and glory.
She is married to Pastor Jomo Hinds, and together they are raising their family. Her life and ministry rest on the conviction that the Kingdom of God is not merely something we preach. It is a reality we are called to live, demonstrate and establish wherever God sends us.
Covenant partnership
Compassionate Heart Ministries is honoured to be a covenant partner with Leoline Hinds International Ministries (LHIM), under the leadership of Apostle Leoline Hinds of North Carolina, USA.
For the past three years, CHM and LHIM have partnered in missions and ministry work in Africa and Guyana.
Through the Enlargement platform, wives also receive mentorship through Apostle Leoline Hinds' weekly wives' class, “His Choice, Not His Settlement,” which focuses on the stewardship of godly marriage.
We believe Kingdom advancement needs healthy partnerships and a willingness to labour together.
